Our
best known male and one of the most impressive, Bru's
substantial frame and quality headpiece won him many
admirers.
Never
one to enjoy his time in the ring, Bru always seemed to do
enough to keep him in the winner’s circle. His first big win
was Best in Show at the Bullmastiff Club of NSW 1999
Championship show under Australian breed specialist Andrew Burt (Vic).
He continued his success, winning Runner Up Best In Show
at the Bullmastiff Club of NSW 2000 Championship Show to his
kennel mate Ch Gameguard Arion (IID).
Bru
also won Runner Up Best In Show at the Bullmastiff Club
of Victoria 2001 Championship Show under UK breed specialist Billy
Warren, and Best Australian Bred In Show at the first
Bullmastiff National Championship Show under breed specialist
Virginia Rowlands. He also consistently won special classes such
as Best Head and Best Fawn at the Bullmastiff Club of NSW shows.
